‘Marty Supreme’ is a masterpiece you’ll never want to watch again - Detroit Metro Times

man I'm still trying to process this one 🤯 'Marty Supreme' sounds like a wild ride, but I gotta ask, isn't ping pong just a game? like what's so deep about chasing after some table sport? at the same time, I get where Safdie is coming from, critiquing the American Dream and all that jazz... it's just hard to take seriously when the stakes are literally a bunch of ping pong balls 🏓💸

I guess what I'm trying to say is, while 'Marty Supreme' might be a masterpiece for some people, I'm not sure it's for me... I'll stick to something like 'Office Space' or 'The Big Lebowski', you know? 😎 those guys just get it 🤣

I just saw this movie Marty Supreme and I'm still trying to pick myself up from the floor 🤯🎾 The whole thing was just so messed up... like, what even is Marty's problem? He's got every opportunity in the world and he just keeps choosing the worst path possible 🤑. And Timothée Chalamet's performance? Mind blown 😲. But you know what really gets me? How relatable it all feels 🤕. I mean, we've all been there - chasing some stupid goal or dream that's never going to come true. It's like Safdie is holding up a mirror to our own psyche and just saying "hey, you're not as great as you think you are" 😳. Anyway, if you're looking for a movie experience that'll leave you feeling shaken, then Marty Supreme is the way to go... but don't say I didn't warn you 🎬👀

this movie sounds like a total wild ride 🤯 i mean who knew ping pong could be so deep? timothée chalamet as a self-absorbed narcissist is a role i'm pretty sure he can pull off 😂 but seriously, a film that critiques the american dream and forces you to confront your own values? sign me up! 🎥 on the other hand, i'm not exactly feeling the urge to watch a movie about ping pong... unless it's followed by a tournament of real ping pong skills 💪 then we're talking 📺

🤯 This movie sounds super intense 🎥👀 I mean, who knew ping pong could be so dark? 🏓😱 Timothée Chalamet is a genius 👏 and Josh Safdie's direction is on point 🎬. But, like, how do you even process the emotions? 🤯 It's one thing to watch a movie about ping pong, but another to get invested in Marty's descent into madness 😩. I guess that's what makes it a masterpiece, right? 💥 I'm definitely intrigued and might just have to check it out (but not too soon, maybe after a few cups of coffee ☕️) 🤔

I'm totally getting why people are saying Marty Supreme is a masterpiece 🤯, even though it's super uncomfortable to watch. I mean, who hasn't felt like they're chasing some kind of pipe dream that's gonna make them happy and fulfilled? But what if that dream turns out to be just a huge mess? 🎾💔

And I gotta give props to Timothée Chalamet for bringing Marty Mauser to life. He's got this intensity and vulnerability that makes you feel like he's really struggling with his own demons. It's not easy to watch, but it's also kinda mesmerizing?

I think what I love most about Marty Supreme is how it challenges you to think about your own values and motivations. What are we really chasing after? Is it just a bunch of empty promises, or can we find something more meaningful? It's like, the film is saying, "Hey, let's take a closer look at this whole American Dream thing and see if it's still got some magic left in it."

Anyway, I'm not gonna lie, watching Marty Supreme left me feeling pretty shook up 😱. But hey, that's what makes it such a great film, right?

omg, I just watched this new movie "Marty Supreme" and it was literally so mind-blowing 🤯. It reminded me of that one movie from 2010 where the lead character becomes a hitman and it's all about the darker side of human nature, you know like "The Town"? But this ping pong film is on a whole different level 🎾. Timothée Chalamet was so convincing as the main character, I almost felt bad for him 😔. The movie just made me realize how crazy our society can be when we're all chasing that perfect image or goal. Like remember when social media was new and everyone was all about getting those likes and followers? 📱 it's wild to think how far we've come (or how far we still have to go). Anyway, I'm not gonna lie, this movie left me feeling really unsettled 😳 but in a good way? like it made me question my own values and stuff.
