A chilling incident of domestic violence turned deadly unfolded early Saturday morning in north Harris County, when a 41-year-old man was found shot to death inside his mobile home. The suspect, described as a friend of the victim who had lived at the residence intermittently, is currently at large.

According to authorities, deputies were alerted around 2 a.m. and responded to reports of a shooting at the 200 block of West Canino Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered two people inside, one of whom was deceased while the others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Sergeant Greg Pinkins, the suspected shooter had been identified as a friend of the victim but not related to him by blood or marriage. While authorities confirm that the shooter is still at large and has not been taken into custody, an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
