that's insane what happened to Cody Coombes... riding around in his van like it's no big deal just imagine being in the middle of that chaos, 165 miles per hour winds are wild . it's crazy how some people can just find themselves in these situations and others don't. and I'm glad he made it out alive, but at the same time, it's just so sad for all those who lost their lives... I feel bad that his van has become this thing where people are like "oh look, someone's lucky" when really it's just a vehicle that was in the right place at the right time . and yeah, it's definitely a sobering reminder to always prioritize our safety during severe weather events...
idk why ppl r makin such a big deal about coombes savin his life in that tornado he was just lucky i guess... if u ask me, it's a bit suspicious how he just happened to be in his van when the tornado hit maybe he wasn't as lucky as ppl think anyway, not really surprised anyone died during this thing
I mean, what's up with these vans being used as tornado shelters now? I'm all for resourcefulness, but come on! Cody Coombes' van is literally just a pest control vehicle? How does that even qualify as a safe haven? And what about the poor guy who lost his life in North Little Rock? That's the real tragedy here. Not some dude riding out the tornado in a van
man this guy's escape is like a paradox, you know? on one hand he was literally in the midst of destruction & death, but somehow his van became this tiny island of safety . it's like the universe decided to grant him a reprieve at just the right moment. but at what cost, though? i mean, he won't speak about it, seems like too much for him to handle... can't help but wonder if he'll ever shake off that trauma .
