Malaysia lifts ban on Grok after taking X at its word

I'm not sure what's more concerning - the fact that deepfake sexualized images are still being created with Grok or that a company as powerful as Elon Musk's can't seem to get it right 🤔. It just goes to show how much work we've got ahead of us in terms of regulating these new tech platforms. I'm glad Malaysia is keeping a close eye on Grok but I think the UK and Indonesia should be taking more action too 💡. We need some strong guidelines for these companies, especially when it comes to protecting vulnerable people like kids from being exploited online 🚫.
 
I'm kinda glad Malaysia lifted the ban on Grok, but at the same time, I feel like it's a bit worrying that X Corp still hasn't convinced everyone that their safety measures are solid 💡🤔. I mean, 3 million sexualized images in just 11 days is crazy - what more does they need to do? 🚨 They've already made some changes, but it feels like it might not be enough. Can't we just have a more transparent conversation about how these platforms are regulating themselves? 💬 And what's with the lack of international standards for this kind of thing? It's like they're all trying to figure it out as they go 🤷‍♂️.
 
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole Grok thing... 🤯 Like, how do you even prevent deepfakes from being made with a chatbot? It's mind-boggling. I mean, X Corp has said they've taken measures, but 3 million sexualized images in 11 days is still super alarming... 😬 And what about the ones of kids? That's just not okay. Malaysia lifting the ban without more concrete proof that Grok is safe seems a bit sketchy to me. Shouldn't there be more transparency around how X Corp is monitoring user behavior and preventing misuse? 🤔
