can u believe this?? Crystal Palace get thrashed by some non-league team in the FA Cup they're like the holders and everything but Macclesfield just outplayed them and took advantage of their mistakes it's not even like Palace were close to scoring, i mean, 2-1 is a huge margin for someone as big as them in football

i'm also kinda sad for Macclesfield, they won this massive upset but it's also a bit heartbreaking because one of their players died just last month and now this win will be etched in history forever, like a bittersweet memory

Wow, that's insane!!! Crystal Palace getting smashed by non-league side Macclesfield is like something out of a dream... or nightmare . I mean, you've got to hand it to Macclesfield though, they played some incredible football and deserved the win . And it's even more sad that this result came at a tough time for them, losing Ethan McLeod like that last month is devastating . But on the flip side, Palace are definitely giving the Premier League a run for their money... in terms of being thoroughly outclassed . omg i just had the craziest dream last nite lol i was walking on the beach and suddenly there were giant jellyfish everywhere and i just ran as fast as i could while trying to avoid getting stung anyway what's with all these football games and tournaments tho? can't we just watch a nice rom-com movie or something like a good ol' fashioned video game marathon

omg u guys can't believe what just happened in the fa cup!! crystal palace was totally dominated by macclesfield and it's crazy to think they're like 117 places lower in the pyramid lol but for real, their attack was so lacking and macclesfield just outplayed them every step of the way. and that free kick from yeremy pino at the end was just ridiculous!! i feel bad for palace fans tho, it's been a tough season for them. i think glasner is right though, they did look really off on the pitch and it's hard to explain what happened. anyway, massive respect to macclesfield for pulling off the biggest upset in fa cup history

can you believe this?! crystal palace just got destroyed by some non-league team in the fa cup... like what even is going on? they were supposed to win it all and now they're the ones who got beat up bad i guess u gotta respect macclesfield though, they played some awesome football their striker paul dawson scored that opener at halftime and then just kept rolling from there meanwhile palace was just like "what are we doing" this whole thing is just crazy...

I'm still trying to process this result ... I mean, Crystal Palace was supposed to be cruising to the FA Cup title and now they're reeling . It's like that time when the Yankees lost to the A's in 2001 - you know, the one where Mark McGwire came from behind to win it all? This Macclesfield team is like that Cinderella story ... who would've thought a non-league side could take down the champs?

I'm not sure what happened to Palace, though. They looked so off-form out there. And can't blame them for being nervous, but 90 minutes is a long time . I remember when Leeds took down Arsenal in the League Cup back in '95... that was a huge upset too. But at least Macclesfield's win feels more earned, you know? They played from start to finish and deserved it .

Anyway, my take is that this will be remembered for ages as one of the biggest FA Cup upsets ever ... and it's going to sting Palace fans for a while .
