. She was really giving it her all out there, trying to make a comeback after coming back from that tough ACL injury last week 
. I mean, you've gotta respect her for pushing through the pain and the doubts, but sometimes even with all the prep and training, accidents can happen and it's just one of those things .
She was always known for being so fearless and bold on the slopes, but this time she just got caught out
. You feel bad for her because she really had this chance to make history and prove that she still has what it takes 
. Now, I know American Breezy Johnson took gold with a tight margin, but it's not like Lindsey didn't give it her all

It's also kinda interesting how fast we're all shifting our focus from 'will she medal?' to 'how long will she be out?' and that's fair because recovery is gonna take time
. I'm still rooting for her, even if she won't get the gold this time – she's already a legend in my eyes
