LeBron James and Luka Doncic sparked a thrilling comeback to propel the Los Angeles Lakers past the Philadelphia 76ers, winning 112-108 in a high-scoring contest.
The duo combined for 60 points, with James chipping in 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Notably, 12 of his points came in the fourth quarter as he led the Lakers to victory after the game had levelled at 105 apiece with just one minute and 29 seconds remaining.
Doncic, who missed two previous games due to the birth of his child, returned strongly with a triple-double of 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists. His game-high performance helped drive home the Lakers' decisive victory over their Eastern Conference rivals.
"We're at the end of a road trip, there can be a lot of tired legs," James said post-game, "I felt great, I had the opportunity with some pretty good legs to try to assert myself a little offensively."
Despite an impressive performance from Doncic, Tyrese Maxey top scored for the 76ers with 28 points. Joel Embiid also notched 16 points but struggled with his shooting, making just four of 21 attempts.
The win pushes the Lakers into second place in the Western Conference, while the Philadelphia 76ers remain seventh in the Eastern Conference.
