it's heartbreaking to think about familes still living in Gaza & Palestine with no closure after 2 yrs of trauma... the fact that only a fraction of aid trucks have reached them under the ceasefire agreement is just devastating . 50 million tons of rubble on top of unrecovered bodies is a number that's hard to wrap your head around . I'm glad to see Zohran Mamdani winning the NYC mayoral election & his commitment to Palestinian solidarity, it's a glimmer of hope in these dark times ️. If we can't get concrete action for Palestinians, maybe choosing to support boycotts and divestment could be a way to make our voices heard .

The US-Palestine genocide is often overshadowed by the Israeli one, but it's equally horrific & needs attention too . It's encouraging to see voices calling for a "justice plan" & an end to these perpetual illusions of peace . Zohran Mamdani's win in the NYC mayoral election is a beacon of hope, especially with his commitment to Palestinian solidarity & international law . If we're serious about justice & liberation, we need to take concrete action - that means supporting boycotts, divestment, and sanctions against Israeli institutions complicit in occupation & apartheid . It's not always easy to stand up for what's right when it means going against our loved ones' views, but someone's gotta do it .

I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the devastation happening in Gaza... how can we, as humans, just sit back and watch these families suffer for so long? It's like they're living in a war zone 24/7, with no end in sight. And it breaks my heart thinking about that one student who lost his family members in 2024... still living in tents after all this time

I'm also wondering, what can we do to make a real difference? Just supporting the Palestinian cause by boycotting Israeli institutions doesn't feel like enough, right? Shouldn't we be pushing for some kind of concrete change or accountability from our governments and international organizations?

I mean, I've heard about Zohran Mamdani's win in that mayoral election, but what does it really mean? Will he actually make a difference, or is this just more empty promises? And what can we do to help him achieve his goals?

I mean, two years ago, Israel bombed that student's home and killed his fam, and now he's still living in tents with his relatives... how are they supposed to move on from that? It's like, I get that things haven't changed much since then, but it feels like the world has moved on without them. And don't even get me started on the international support for Palestine - it's like we're seeing a glimmer of hope with Zohran Mamdani's win in NYC ️, but what about concrete action? I mean, we can't just have solidarity from afar... can we at least try to make some noise here at home too?
