Joyce Manor Flashes to the Past in New Single

ugh i love how joyce manor always knows how to bring back those early 2000s vibes 🤪, but what im really hyped about is their new album "i used to go to this bar" - it sounds like they're pushing the boundaries of pop rock and emo even more with their seventh studio release 🎸. i mean, who else can make a song called 'i know where mark chen lives' and still manage to make it feel relatable and humorous? 🤣 and the fact that they're playing coachella 2026 is insane - can't wait to see them live this spring 🌞

idk if i'm excited about joyce manor's new single yet... its catchy and all, but lead singer barry johnson's lyrics feel kinda forced to me 🤔. like, i get that they're trying to tap into nostalgia and whatnot, but can't they just focus on writing songs that don't sound so... calculated? 🎸

that being said, i'm def stoked about their new album dropping in spring! the music video for "i know where mark chen lives" is actually pretty cool, even if it's a bit cringy at times 😂. and coachella 2026? yeah, they're definitely playing to the right crowd 🤪.

but let's be real, joyce manor has been around for ages now... can't we just expect them to make some decent music every time without getting all hyped up about it? 😉

omg I'm loving the vibe of this new single, it's like they're channeling all the good energy of early 2000s SoCal pop rock 🤟♂️ and Joyce Manor's Barry Johnson is just killing it with his lyrics - it's like he's writing straight to my soul 🌊! The music video is also giving me major nostalgia, but at the same time, the song feels fresh and modern too 🔥. And can we talk about how excited I am for their new album "I Used to Go to This Bar"?! It's dropping this spring and they're taking it on tour which means we get to experience all that catchy pop rock energy live 💥. Coachella 2026 is also a must-see, Joyce Manor's been killing the game for years and I'm hyped to see what they have in store for us next 🎉.
