CBS's 'Matlock' fans are in for a disappointment as the network has announced that there won't be any new episodes airing tonight, January 15th. Instead, viewers will have to settle for reruns of the classic series. The show's return to primetime is scheduled to happen on February 26th at 9:00 p.m. ET, and it will be available for next-day streaming on Paramount+ Essential subscribers from February 27th.
While fans are eagerly awaiting the show's new episodes, it seems like they have to wait a few more weeks before getting their fix of Andrew "Andy" Matlock's courtroom battles.

i was really lookin forward to new episodes already. and feb 26th feels like ages from now lol Paramount+ Essential better deliver on next day streaming or im gonna be super disappointed 
. i've been waiting for this new season and now i gotta settle for reruns... still gonna watch tho

. two whole months is a looong time to be stuck watching matlock's reruns on cbs. and whats the point of having paramount+ essential if we cant get new eps the day after they air? its just gonna feel like we're paying for a service that doesnt deliver

CBS is really testing fans' patience here. I mean, I know reruns are better than nothing, but come on, it feels like they're milking this classic series for all it's worth. And now we have to wait till Feb 26th for the new episodes even tho its already January 15th? That's just ridiculous 
Hopefully, it'll be worth the wait for all the fans out there!

. personally, i'm all for new content, but if you want to watch some old dude with a southern drawl yell at people in court, go ahead and stream it on some obscure platform

my friend was super hyped for new matlock and now she has to watch reruns lol anyway i guess its still good that its coming back on Feb 26th can't wait to see what kind of crazy cases andrew gets himself into again
