come on folks Schumer is a total pro at this kinda thing and he knew exactly what to do to get that deal done. he didn't cause the shutdown it was those progressives being super stubborn and refusing to work with anyone else. all these people complaining about him are just haters and they don't know the first thing about how politics works. Schumer's got 20 years of experience and 3 terms under his belt so I think he knows what he's doing just fine.
