'In isolation, we'll never flourish': What Iranians think about the protests and an end to the Islamic Republic

You know, I've been watching this whole situation from afar 🌎, and honestly it's all a bit too much to take in. People are so worried about what might happen next that they're holding their breaths for the best part of 3 months now 😬. But you know what? I think some people just need to sit down, have a cuppa ☕️, and think about what's really going on here.

Regime change or gradual reforms - it's all just a bunch of pie-in-the-sky stuff 🤔. The truth is, no one really knows what's gonna happen next. What we do know is that the economy's been through the wringer 💸, and if people are going to make real changes, they'll need to get back on track with global markets and trade ⚡️.

For me, it's all about social change 🌈. If university students can learn to put aside their differences and work together towards a common goal, I've got no doubt we can build a better future for everyone 💪. Just hope that after the dust settles, people will be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor without too much strife 😅

🤔 just read an article with interviews from ppl living in Tehran and it's crazy how divided ppl are on what to do next 🌎. some think US should intervene militarily but others are all about gradual reforms 🤷‍♂️. i'm like, what's gonna happen? 😬 got my finger crossed that things can get better for everyone 💕. anyone else worried about the future of Iran? 🤝

I cant believe what's happening with this protest and all the different views on regime change 🤯 it feels like my dad talking about the 70s and Shah being overthrown - everyone was so divided back then... now its just so many people with different opinions 🌎 I mean, Ashkan thinks its gonna be a US-led revolution like in the 80s but Farshad is all about gradual reforms like during the Khatami presidency 🕰️ I dont know what to think myself, it's all so uncertain 💔

I'm keeping an eye on this whole situation 🤔... I mean, I get why people would want change, but those protests can be super intense and unpredictable. I'm not sure if it's the US that's gonna come in and fix everything (Ashkan) or if it'll be some gradual shift within Iran itself (Farshad). Either way, I hope for the best, but you can't just ignore the risks involved. And what about Pahlavi coming to power? Would that even make a difference? Has anyone thought about how that'd affect everyday life in Tehran?
