Hytale will only cost $20 because it isn't good yet, its developer says

I think Hytale is kinda genius 🤯 for pricing it at $20. I mean, we've all been burned by games that come out too polished and then fall flat because they're not really "real" in the first place. This is like taking a leap of faith and saying "Hey, we know this game isn't perfect, but if you play it now, we can work together with you to make it amazing". It's a super inclusive approach that lets the community help shape the future of Hytale.

I'm also loving how they're not trying to sugarcoat anything. The rough footage is straight-up honest and shows that this game is still in its infancy. I think it's awesome that they're being so transparent about their intentions. It takes a lot of guts to say "Hey, we know you're gonna want something more, but for now, let's just focus on getting this thing working".

I'm curious to see how the community responds and if people will jump in and start playing it, even with all its rough edges. I think $20 is a pretty aggressive price point, but it could also be a sign of great things to come. Fingers crossed for Hytale! 🤞
