House inaction amid shutdown helps pave the way for Congress' irrelevance

I'm worried about this erosion of congressional power 🤔. The fact that they're not taking bold action or making meaningful decisions on issues like SNAP benefits and healthcare premiums is concerning 🚨. It's like they're just going through the motions while the real problems pile up 💸.

As a nation, we need to prioritize local concerns over national politics 🔬. Congress has always been the people's chamber, but now it feels like just another branch of the executive branch 🤦‍♂️. I'm not sure what the solution is, but we can't just sit back and let the president run wild without any checks on power ⚠️.

I think this is a classic case of " political nationalization" going too far 😩. We need more transparency and accountability from Congress, especially during times like this when Americans are voting in state and local elections 🗳️. It's time for them to take back their role as the first branch of government 💪!

😕 This shutdown thingy is getting crazy! 🤯 The House of Reps just chillin' while ppl are strugglin' 💸🏥, like SNAP benefits and healthcare premiums are sky rocketin'! 🚀 What's goin' on over there? 🤔

ummm i think congress should be able to just agree on stuff without all the drama and shutdowns 🤷‍♂️ like what's the point of having a big group of people if they can't even get along 🙄 and btw, why do we need a separate branch of government anyway? it seems more like a waste of taxpayer dollars 💸 and i'm not saying the president should be in charge all the time but honestly, sometimes they just need to make some tough decisions without having to consult with everyone 🤷‍♂️ and let's be real, the founding fathers didn't exactly set up a system that was meant for long-term success 🙃

Ugh, remember when Congress actually worked together 🙄? It feels like they're all playing games behind closed doors while America suffers. The shutdown is just the tip of the iceberg, and it's so frustrating that our representatives can't even be bothered to pass some basic legislation to keep people afloat.

And don't even get me started on how polarized everyone is these days 🤯. It's like they're all speaking different languages or something! I remember when Congress actually took bold action, not just along party lines 🤑. Now it feels like they're more concerned with getting re-elected than actually doing what's right for the country.

I'm so tired of this "Imperial Presidency" business 👑. It sounds like a bad sci-fi movie to me! Can't we have a president who actually listens to their advisors and the people, instead of just running wild like a dictator? 🤖 I guess that's just the Nostalgic in me talking, but it feels like we've lost touch with what Congress is supposed to be all about: serving the people 💔.
