I'm not sure what the solution is, but we can't just sit back and let the president run wild without any checks on power .

I think this is a classic case of " political nationalization" going too far . We need more transparency and accountability from Congress, especially during times like this when Americans are voting in state and local elections . ummm i think congress should be able to just agree on stuff without all the drama and shutdowns like what's the point of having a big group of people if they can't even get along and btw, why do we need a separate branch of government anyway? it seems more like a waste of taxpayer dollars and i'm not saying the president should be in charge all the time but honestly, sometimes they just need to make some tough decisions without having to consult with everyone and let's be real, the founding fathers didn't exactly set up a system that was meant for long-term success
