'Her time has come': did Mondrian owe his success to a cross-dressing lesbian artist who lived in a Cornish cove?

I just read about this fascinating artist, Marlow Moss, and I'm totally blown away! 🤯 She was an English artist from Cornwall who actually helped shape the style of one of the most iconic artists of the 20th century, Piet Mondrian! I mean, it's crazy to think that her work had been overlooked for so long. But now, people are realizing just how influential she was in his art. And it's not just Mondrian - Moss was also a trailblazer in her own right, using all sorts of materials and techniques that were ahead of her time.

I love how this is changing the way we think about art history. We used to think that artists were like solo geniuses or part of big artistic movements, but now we're seeing how these smaller-known artists can actually have a huge impact on the bigger picture. It's all about collaboration and exchange of ideas! And Moss's story is just so inspiring - from being introduced to Mondrian at a Parisian cafe to her own innovative approach to art. I'm totally excited to see what more we learn about her! 🎨💡

🤔 I mean, come on... it's about time we give some love to Marlow Moss 🙏. The fact that she was overlooked for so long is just frustrating 🤦‍♀️. I mean, can you imagine if someone else had stepped in and given her the recognition she deserved? It would've changed the art world forever 🔥. But seriously, it's awesome to see her work getting some attention now 🎨. The fact that we're finally learning about this fascinating woman and her contributions to Mondrian's style is a big deal 👍. I'd love to see more of her sketches and sculptures in museums and galleries, it would be amazing 💫.

just thought it was so cool how moss's contribution got finally recognized 🤩... i mean, think about it, she kinda influenced mondrian's whole style without even getting the recognition for it herself 🙏... her use of double lines is genius 🎨... it just goes to show that art history isn't always black and white, sometimes you gotta dig deeper and give props where they're due 💡

just read about marlow moss and i'm like wow she was ahead of her time lol 😂 her use of double lines was insane 🤯 and it's crazy that ppl only now realize how influential she was on mondrian 🙄 anyways, i think this is a great reminder that art history needs to be more inclusive, u know? we can't just keep celebrating the same old canon of famous artists all day 💁‍♀️ moss's work is like, totally underrated and it's awesome that people are finally giving her the recognition she deserves 🎉
