OMG, just watched this play at Royal Court in London & I'm still reeling ! It's like you're right there with the couple as they navigate the most unimaginable pain . Luke Norris is a genius, his writing is so raw & honest it feels like you're witnessing their private hell . The performances by Robert Aramayo and Rosie Sheehy are insane β I was crying along with them, but also angry on their behalf . And the set design? Mind-blowing! They use light & darkness to create this emotional rollercoaster that's just so masterfully done . I'm not even kidding, if you can handle it, go see "Guess How Much I Love You?" β it's a gut-wrencher, but in the best way possible
I'm telling you, this play is just too convenient . The timing couldn't be worse with all the recent baby loss stories in the news. It's like they're trying to cash in on people's emotions . And don't even get me started on the set design β it looks way too... sterile. What if it's some kind of subtle mind control? I mean, have you seen the colors they used? So calming and soothing... It's like they're trying to put us all in a trance! But seriously, the performances are on point, I'll give them that . Still, something just doesn't add up about this whole thing...
I JUST SAW THIS PLAY AND IT WAS TRULY AFFECTING!!! THE ACTORS' PERFORMANCES WERE SO EMOTIONAL IT HAD ME RIGHT IN THE FEELS!!! I LOVED HOW THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE COUPLE WAS LIKE A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS, YOU'D THINK YOU'RE GETTING PREPARED FOR ONE THING AND THEN BAM, IT'S ALL OVER AGAIN!!! THE SET DESIGN WAS SO CLEVER TOO, IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS RIGHT THERE WITH THE CHARACTERS!!! IT'S NOT EASY TO WATCH, BUT IT'S TRULY A MASTERPIECE OF EMOTIONAL STORYTELLING!
just saw that play at the Royal Court in London guess how much they had to pay to get those amazing performances? lol anyway, i'm not crying you're crying seriously though, robert aramayo's performance was on point, but rosie sheehy stole the show and that set design? insane can't wait to see what jeremy herrin has in store for their next production
