Greg Grandin on Trump’s “Universal Police Warrant”

I'm really worried about what's happening with Venezuela, man... it's like, the US is basically trying to destabilize the country on purpose, and it's so reckless 🤯. I think we need to be super careful about our foreign policy in South America, you know? We can't just go around imposing our will on other countries and expecting everything to work out. That's not how democracy works 💡. And what's with The Intercept needing more resources to cover this stuff? Can't they just get the word out through social media like we do? 🤔 I mean, think about it... if we had better press freedom in the US, maybe we could learn from each other and help each other out instead of trying to tear each other down. It's all about building bridges, not walls 😊.

I'm not surprised that Trump's playbook for Latin America involves destabilizing and undermining countries with left-leaning governments, it's like a masterclass in using fear and misinformation to maintain power 🤦‍♂️. The Intercept needs to beef up its reporting capacity ASAP, I mean we need more investigative journalism to keep the powerful accountable, not less 💪.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around what's happening with Trump and his dealings with Venezuela... it feels like he's trying to undermine democracy left and right 🤯🇻🇪. I mean, the US should be a beacon of hope for countries in need, not one that's actively working against them. And it's not just Venezuela, either - we're seeing all these other countries around Latin America getting pulled into this authoritarian vortex... what's going on?! 🤔
