OMG I cant believe this dude is 32 years old I remember when I was in school learning about great whites they said they only lived like 20-30 years but I guess that was wrong , now we have tech to track them and its awesome! The fact that Contender is migrating north for food and south for breeding makes so much sense, it's like a big migration pattern , Ocearch is doing such amazing work tracking these sharks and helping us learn more about them
I mean, can you even believe this thing is 32 years old? That's wild! And it's been tracked for over a year now. I'm not saying I'm scared or anything, but 13.8 feet long is HUGE . It's crazy how much we're still learning about these creatures and their migrations. Ocearch is doing some serious work here. And you know what's even crazier? They've only got one shark tagged in Canada ... that's gotta be a Canadian first or something! Anyway, let's hope they keep this guy safe and learn more about his habits. We need to protect these amazing creatures, dude .
