Google is building an experimental new browser and a new kind of web app

idk about this disco thing ... its like google's trying to be all experimental and stuff but im not sure if its gonna change the game or just make browsing more complicated . i mean, having these custom interactive tabs sounds cool and all, but how often are you gonna use something that's created by an AI? plus, what happens when they stop updating it? are those gen-tabs gonna just disappear into thin air? i'm not saying its a bad idea or anything, but we need to see more before we get our hopes up .

I'm low-key hyped for this GenTab thing ! It feels like Google's finally tapping into what we've been saying about web browsing needing more depth and collaboration. I mean, who doesn't love the idea of creating something from scratch on the fly? The way it sounds, Disco is all about empowering users to contribute their own ideas and expertise to build a more tailored experience.

It's also pretty cool that Google's not trying to replace Chrome or anything – this feels like a legit experiment. I can see how GenTabs could be super useful for tackling complex problems or researching topics that need a bit of customization. The interactive planner app example is a great illustration of what this tech could look like in practice

That being said, it's hard to say if Disco will truly change the game – time will tell if it lives up to its potential. But for now, I'm stoked to see Google pushing the boundaries and exploring new ways to make web browsing more engaging and interactive

Disco's got some cool ideas going on but I'm not sure if GenTabs are gonna stick . It sounds like Google's trying to solve too many problems at once - how users interact with websites, web app creation, and collaboration... that's a lot of weight on one browser . And what's the guarantee these GenTabs won't become info overload? I mean, who needs more tabs anyway? Still, it's intriguing to see Google experimenting with new ways to make browsing more interactive .
