! I love how the ceremony is getting more diverse with all these new faces walking the red carpet... but, to be real, I think they're still missing some really talented actors from underrepresented groups

. It's crazy how much awards shows have evolved, you know? Back in my day, we didn't have all these fancy streaming services like Paramount+... it was just good ol' CBS and Netflix (when they were still kinda new). Anyway, I'm loving the looks on Kate Hudson and Teyana Taylor's faces on that red carpet - they're totally giving me life 
. And can we talk about how many great shows are nominated this year? "The White Lotus" is one of my faves, but I'm also rooting for "Only Murders in the Building"... I mean, who doesn't love Steve Martin and Martin Short together? 
Can't wait to see what happens at the ceremony itself - it's always so much fun! 
! I mean, what's with the constant glamour and glitz? Can't we just have a straightforward awards show for once? And don't even get me started on the nominees – it feels like every movie and TV show is being hyped up to be some sort of "must-see" event. Newsflash: most of us can't afford those ridiculous red carpet dresses or tickets to the ceremony itself

. And then there are the "top contenders" – just who gets to decide on that and how do we even know if it's fair? It feels like they're playing some sort of scripted game rather than actually celebrating good art.
. I'm particularly excited to see how "Nouvelle Vague" fares – its title alone suggests a refreshingly modern take on the genre! As for the hosting duties, I think Nikki Glaser will bring a much-needed levity to the ceremony, but can we talk about the importance of increasing representation behind the camera as well?

... all that drama & pretentiousness on the red carpet can be a bit much, tbh... but i guess it's also kinda entertaining to watch (in moderation, obvi)... Nikki Glaser as host tho? interesting choice, not sure what to expect from her, but hey, she's got some sick comedy skills
