George Clooney says replacing Joe Biden with Kamala Harris 'was a mistake'

man that's wild , i mean george clooney is a great guy but like who tries to take down joe biden from within? and then kamala gets roasted for not wanting to step aside . can't blame her though, she did speak up in 107 days and now we know what happened behind the scenes .

clooney's right tho, having a primary would've been a good idea but i feel like it's all just politics as usual . at the end of the day, joe biden is still in charge and that's not changing anytime soon . what's most concerning is how divided the democratic party is right now . we need to find a way to work together if we wanna make a difference .

I gotta say, I'm still trying to wrap my head around Clooney's op-ed piece... He was right that Biden wasn't doing so great, but nomming off Kamala without a primary? That seems like a recipe for disaster, especially considering she was already dealing with her own health issues... At the same time, I get why he'd want to shake things up – it's been ages since Democrats had a real challenger. The thing is, though, politics ain't always about winning; sometimes it's just about trying to make a difference... Still, I can see how that piece might've rubbed some people the wrong way, especially Hunter Biden – poor dude's got enough on his plate already...

I think George Clooney was just trying to do what he thought was best for the party . I mean, whoever is leading a party has a lot of weight on their shoulders, right? But at the same time, it's not like he just came out of nowhere and said 'oh yeah, let's replace Joe Biden' . He had an op-ed piece in the New York Times where he was trying to make some sense of why they weren't winning more seats... but I guess that's just how politics goes sometimes .

It's funny that Hunter Biden got all worked up and called Clooney a bad word, though . Like, what's the point of being in the public eye if you can't take a little heat? But honestly, I think Clooney handled it super well for someone who could've just dug their heels in and refused to apologize .

What really gets me is how Kamala Harris has been portrayed since her failed presidential bid . Like, people still have this image of her as some kind of 'safe choice' or whatever... but the thing is, she's a human being too! We should be able to see past all that and just appreciate her for who she is .

Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's always hard when you disagree with someone in power . But if we can't even have respectful conversations about the things that matter most, then what's the point of having a democracy at all?

I gotta say , I'm not surprised George Clooney expressed regret over his suggestion. It makes sense that Kamala Harris would have a tough time running against her own record, considering she's been in the public eye for so long . A primary would've been a great way to test their candidate more effectively and see who has what it takes .

I feel bad for Clooney though , getting called out by Hunter Biden like that wasn't cool . But you know how politicians' families can get involved in the drama .

It's crazy to think about how divided the party is right now . The whole "drop out or run again" debate is still ongoing , and it's gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out .

One thing I'd love to see is more bipartisan dialogue . Can't we just put our differences aside for once?
