Fundraiser for 5-year-old boy detained by ICE passes $200,000

Ugh, I mean... can you even imagine being a 5-year-old who just lost his dad in front of his eyes? 🤯 It's like, super sad that he's stuck with adult relatives trying to take care of him while his real parents are detained. And ICE is all like "oh no, we're doing this operation" without even considering the kid's well-being. 🙄 The fact that they took him away from his family on a Tuesday morning and sent him off to Texas is just... wow. I mean, who does that?

And omg, VP Vance saying he should let the kid freeze to death is literally the most messed up thing ever 😱. Like, come on, dude, empathy is not that hard. The fundraising campaign is super heartwarming, though - it's amazing how a community can rally around this little guy and his family. 🤝 $200k and counting? That's just wild...

I don’t usually comment but... this is just heartbreaking 🤕. I mean, a 5-year-old kid being taken away from his home like that? It's just not right. And the fact that ICE agents didn't even try to find another solution for the family, just took him and left him with an adult relative? That's just horrific. The fundraising efforts are definitely a good thing, but it feels like we're only now starting to wake up to how messed up this system is 💔. I don’t know what's going on behind closed doors, but as a society, we need to do better for kids like Liam 🤝.
