France wants to bring voluntary military service back

I dont think thats a good idea at all 🤕 minors in wars is something that should never be taken lightly. I mean whats the point of training young kids for war? Its not like they're gonna be needed in future conflicts or anything 🙄 whats the government even thinking?! Shouldn't they be focusing on education and economic growth instead of trying to rekindle this outdated concept of voluntary military service?

I feel so bad for those kids who might be considered for military service one day... like, what if they get hurt or can't make it back? 🤕 Our school's defense team has been learning about different types of wars and conflicts, but I never thought we'd see the day where minors could be involved in real-life battles. It just doesn't seem right.

I know France needs to boost its military preparedness, but is reintroducing voluntary service really the way to go? Our school's PTA has been working on mental health initiatives for students, and it makes me wonder if this would put a lot of pressure on young people... like, do they need that extra stress?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we should think carefully about how our country protects its citizens without putting innocent lives at risk 🤔. Can't we find other ways to boost national defense without involving minors?

🤔 I'm like totally confused about this one. So they wanna bring back the voluntary military service in France? Like, isn't that kinda weird after everything we've seen about wars and kids getting hurt? 🤕 But at the same time, it's not all bad, right? I mean, having more people who are all about serving their country can be pretty cool. Plus, it could be a good way to get some fresh blood into the military and stuff. But what really gets me is that some of these officials are saying they might deploy minors in future conflicts... like, no way! Kids shouldn't have to deal with all that drama! 🤷‍♀️ I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this whole thing plays out... fingers crossed for France's defense goals 💪.

🤔 I think reintroducing voluntary military service is a tough call... Some people say it'll bring in fresh talent & boost morale, but others are worried about the risks to young folks 🤕. I mean, we all know kids these days are already dealing with so much pressure from school & social media... do we really want to add war to their list of things? 😬 It's a good point that some of our politicians think deploying minors is an option - what does that even say about the state of our society?! 🤷‍♂️

I remember when I was in school, we had to attend these mandatory drills where we'd pretend to be soldiers for like 2 hours on the weekends lol... fast forward to now, they're actually considering bringing back voluntary military service 🤯 It's crazy how times change! The idea of minors joining up is still super sketchy though 🚫 I mean, can't they just focus on education and job training or something? We should be investing in our youth, not putting them in harm's way. And what about the welfare concerns? How are they gonna support these kids when they're away from their families? 🤔 It's all so... complicated 😬

I'm surprised they're even considering this 🤔. I mean, don't get me wrong, France needs to strengthen its defense capabilities, but reintroducing mandatory service is gonna be a huge undertaking, not to mention the logistics of getting minors involved in combat zones... that's just crazy talk 😱. And what about the welfare aspect? It's one thing to have conscription during wartime, but this is voluntary and for "peacekeeping" missions? Give me a break, France needs to rethink its strategy 🚫. Plus, isn't there already enough pressure on young people with education and career goals? Not to mention the fact that most European countries are moving towards an all-volunteer force... it's time for France to catch up, not go back to some outdated model 💪.
