The thing is, when you put your hand out for help, some people just take advantage of others. It's not right, no matter how desperate they might be. And to think that he was a law enforcement officer? That's like salt in the wound

I mean, can you believe it? Some cop gets caught red-handed (or should I say, red- uniform-ed?) and still manages to get off with a slap on the wrist. Like, what's the deal with that? I guess you could say he got 'discharged' from his integrity lol. A conditional discharge is basically like a warning shot across the bow - "hey, we know you're up to no good, but don't think you'll get away with it"
