I'm low-key disappointed in FIFA's decision
. I mean, if you're gonna give Cristiano Ronaldo a slap on the wrist for violent conduct, why not the same punishment for Armenian midfielder Tigran Barseghyan? It's all about double standards, if you ask me
. And what's up with this one-year probation period thing? Is that just a way to appease Ronaldo and his massive following?
It doesn't seem fair to the rest of the players who have to deal with inconsistent rules.
And let's not forget about the bigger picture here – the World Cup is all about sportsmanship, but FIFA's decisions are often more about politics and power struggles
. I'm just worried that Ronaldo's presence in Portugal's squad is gonna be a distraction from what should be an amazing tournament
. Can't we just focus on the game itself?
