Fewer New Yorkers sign up for private ACA health insurance as costs rise

I'm getting a bit worried about this trend... Back in my day, we had to deal with our own share of medical bills, but at least we knew what we were paying for 🤔. Now it seems like people are being priced out of healthcare just because of those pesky premiums 💸. I mean, $686 a month? That's not even the cost of a decent pizza anymore 🍕! And to make matters worse, the Essential Plan is still super popular, which just highlights how unaffordable private insurance is for so many folks 😔. What's gonna happen when those first premium bills come out? 🤑 People are already being forced to cut back on things they can't afford without health insurance... it's a tough situation all around.

🤕 the stats are straight fire, 3% decline in enrollment? that's a lot of people leaving healthcare behind 🚫💸 and it's not like they're choosing to opt out or anything... it's just the cost is too damn high 💸😓

😱 what's going on with health insurance prices?! 🤯 I mean, I get that costs go up, but a 3% decline in enrollment is just crazy! And it's not like people are saying no to healthcare, but the Essential Plan is actually seeing an increase? It's like they're trying to help people, but it's not enough. 💸 What's the point of having affordable options if premiums are still through the roof?! 🚨 We need more solutions than just "you can either pay more or live without" 🤷‍♀️

I'm freaking out over this 🤯! The numbers are just crazy - a 3% decline in private health insurance enrollment? That's not just a drop, that's like, a whole chunk gone 💸 And on top of that, the Essential Plan is seeing a 6% increase? It's like people are being priced out of healthcare altogether 🚫

I mean, I get it, premiums can be steep, but what's going on here? Are we just not prioritizing our health anymore? 😕 Rebecca Boyden's situation is so relatable - who can afford to cut back on everything else just to pay for health insurance? 💸 It's like the system is designed to fail us. And if people start dropping out of plans because they can't afford it, that just makes things worse 🤯

We need some serious changes, stat ⏰! More affordable options, more subsidies... something needs to be done to make healthcare accessible again 🙌
