... a 19-yr-old girl with no record, pending asylum case, and her life gets torn apart like that?

It's just not fair. I know some people might say she's a "criminal" because of the system being so messed up, but what about all those people who are actually innocent?
I think we need to talk about how broken our immigration system is. Two-thirds of asylum seekers getting released from deportation cases is already a huge success, and yet this happens to one person... it's just not right.

What's the point of even having a pending case if you're just gonna deport her anyway?
I feel so helpless for Estafany's family. They're trying everything they can to get her back, but it's hard to know what's going on when the system is designed to keep people like them in the dark.

We need some real change here...
