EU proposals for free extra cabin bags on planes 'lunatic idea', says easyJet

Umm this makes sense why airlines are so against free extra cabin bags tho? I mean think about it, if everyone gets one for free then where does that leave the airlines in terms of making money? They've already got the base ticket price which is minimal, but the bag charges are a big chunk of their revenue. Doubling those fees would be crazy! 🤑

And also can you imagine trying to offload all that extra luggage on planes? It's not like they're gonna just magic away the bags. That's bound to cause delays and hassle for passengers. I get where EasyJet is coming from, but at the same time, isn't this whole thing supposed to be about passenger rights and making flying more convenient? 🤔

I don't get why they're making this rule 🤔. I mean, I know some airlines already charge extra for extra bags, but it's not like everyone would want one extra bag or anything. And if passengers can just bring a handbag on the plane, wouldn't that take up space in the overhead bins too? 😂 I'm sure there are better ways to make money than charging people extra for bags... like selling Wi-Fi on planes, but even that doesn't seem like it's working out well right now 🤑.

omg i was literally talking about this on my flight last month 🤯 and people were getting so stressed coz their bags were too heavy lol now they wanna let people bring like 2 extra bags with them 😂 what's wrong with paying a few bucks extra for that? easyjet sounds like it's just trying to make more cash 💸

omg i cant believe easyjet is being so dramatic about this 🙄... i mean i get that they dont want to lose £2.5bn a year in bag charges but come on kenton Jarvis you can do better than calling it a "lunatic idea" 😂... its just one free extra cabin bag per person, how hard can that be to implement? 🤷‍♀️ and yeah i would hate it if flights got delayed due to excess baggage but isnt thats what airlines are for? 😊 i think consumers should win out on this one 🏆💨

omg, can u believe easyjet is fighting this so hard?! 🤯 they're basically saying it'll ruin their business model if we get one free extra cabin bag lol. i feel for them, but isn't that just how airlines work? charging you extra for stuff? 🤑 anyway, i think the EU should consider passenger rights and convenience when making decisions like this. maybe they could find a middle ground where everyone wins 🤝
