Eagles-Raiders Week 15 injury report, with analysis

The Philadelphia Eagles head into their Week 15 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders with a mix of injuries and hopefuls returning from the sidelines.

Injury-wise, both RT Lane Johnson and IDL Jalen Carter will miss the game due to foot issues and shoulder problems respectively. LG Landon Dickerson's calf injury has limited his practice time this week but appears to be manageable.

LB Zack Baun is fully healthy after a hand injury kept him out of the previous game. On the other side, LS Charley Hughlett is expected to play despite an abdomen issue. OT Fred Johnson is listed as 'limited' on Thursday with an ankle problem and will likely start in place of Lane Johnson.

Meanwhile, Raiders quarterback Geno Smith is ruled out for Week 15 after suffering a right shoulder injury.

The defense of the Raiders is looking stronger with DE Maxx Crosby set to play despite some concerns over his knee and shoulder issues. S Jeremy Chinn is still 'questionable' but it's likely he'll be in, while Jamal Adams has overcome a knee issue.

It remains to be seen whether TE Michael Mayer will start against the Eagles or remain on the sidelines with an ankle injury. WR Alec Bachman is listed as out, however, with a thumb issue and WR Dont'e Thornton will play despite being listed as limited due to concussion issues.

Ugh I'm so hyped for this game! Both teams have some key players missing or limited, but I think the Eagles' O-line can hold it down against the Raiders. Fred Johnson stepping up is a big plus, and if they can keep Geno Smith out of sync, their defense will thrive πŸ’ͺ🏽πŸ’₯. On the other side, Maxx Crosby's return is huge for the Raiders - that guy's a beast! 🐯 I'm thinking the Eagles' offense might struggle against his pass rush... but then again, Jalen Carter's injury could be a blessing in disguise if Lane Johnson is limited ⚠️. What do you guys think? Should the Eagles go with their backup O-line or roll with it and hope for the best? πŸ€”

The Eagles' Week 15 matchup against the Raiders is shaping up to be an intriguing one, with several key players returning from injury while others are expected to fill in due to personnel concerns πŸ€”. The loss of Lane Johnson and Jalen Carter on the O-line will undoubtedly impact their pass-blocking capabilities, whereas Fred Johnson's expected start in place of Lane Johnson could prove to be a game-changer πŸ’ͺ. Meanwhile, the Raiders' defense is looking more formidable with Maxx Crosby set to take the field despite some nagging knee and shoulder issues 🏈. One player who could make a significant impact on both teams is Zach Baun, who's been fully healthy after missing the previous game πŸ”„. It'll be interesting to see how Michael Mayer fits into the Raiders' TE rotation, especially with an ankle injury πŸ€•.

Ugh I cant even think about anything else rn πŸ˜‚πŸˆ... Eagles defense has been so weak this season πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ and now they gotta deal with Lane Johnson's injury? Fred Johnson is gonna try his best but im still worried πŸ’”... and what about that TE Michael Mayer? Does he get to see some playing time or is he bench-bound again? πŸ€”πŸˆ Raiders defense looks strong tho, especially Maxx Crosby πŸ‘Š... hopefully Zack Baun can help Eagles defense step it up ⚑️

🀞 I'm so hyped for this one!! The Eagles are gonna need to step up their game without Lane Johnson, but I think Fred's got this πŸ™ŒπŸ’ͺ They've gotta keep the pressure on Geno Smith though - that guy's got some serious arm strength! 😬 Maxx Crosby is looking fierce, hope he can keep it together with those knee and shoulder issues πŸ’• And let's be real, Zack Baun is gonna SHUT IT DOWN πŸ’₯ Can't wait to see this one go down!! 🏈πŸ’ͺ

πŸš¨πŸ’” Ugh, this game is gonna be a disaster πŸ€• Eagles are already struggling with injuries and now they gotta face the Raiders who are actually healthy πŸ˜’ Lane Johnson is out and Fred Johnson is only 'limited' which means he's still not 100%... and don't even get me started on Geno Smith being ruled out, that's a huge blow for the Raiders 🀯 But you know what the cherry on top is? The Eagles gotta deal with the defense of the Raiders who are actually looking stronger πŸ”’ Maxx Crosby is playing despite his knee/shoulder issues... this game is gonna be a total nightmare 😩

Ugh πŸ€•, this Eagles team is falling apart πŸ’”. Injuries are piling up and it's hard to see how they're gonna make a deep playoff run without their top tackles on the field πŸ‘€. Lane Johnson's absence is gonna be huge, especially with his experience against tough pass rushers like Crosby 😬. And now they gotta deal with Geno Smith gone from QB... this team is just not looking good πŸš«πŸ’”

I feel bad for Lane Johnson, gotta get him back ASAP, can't lose your star OTs, you know? πŸ€• And what's up with these injuries, it's like the football gods are against us this season πŸ˜‚. On a serious note, I think the Eagles defense is gonna have to step up big time without Jalen Carter, that dude was a beast on D! πŸ’ͺ

idk how they can expect to beat the eagles w/ lane johnson out for like 3 games already! gotta start that o-line right or their whole gameplan is gonna fall apart lolπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ, and geno smiths injury sucks cause he's been having a solid season πŸ€•. on the other hand, gotta love maxx crosby's toughness, playing through some nasty knee issues πŸ‘. think charley hughlett will be alright this week tho πŸ‘

ooh man i'm so hyped for this game lol Eagles are gonna crush it no way geno smith can beat them without his best player πŸ˜‚ lmao raiders defense is looking fire with maxx crosby though he's been a beast all season can't wait to see him go up against the eagles oline 🀩 and i'm loving the eagles depth at linebacker Zack baun is gonna make some big plays for us πŸ’ͺ fingers crossed freddy johnson can stay healthy on the right side of the line 🀞

so many injuries on both teams πŸ€•πŸ˜“ i think eagles gonna have tough time without lane johnson but zack baun back in means they can keep their dline stable... meanwhile raiders defense look strong with maxx crosby and jamal adams 🏈πŸ’ͺ

Man, Eagles defense needs to step up their game πŸ€”... Carter's absence will be felt. Hope Fred Johnson can hold it down at right tackle πŸ‘Š. Smith's injury is big for the Raiders, but they've got some depth on D. How's that gonna play out? πŸ’ͺ

I'm so down for this game! 😎 The Eagles have been struggling lately, but I think they've got a good shot against the Raiders. I mean, without Geno Smith, their offense is gonna be pretty weak, and with some guys like Fred Johnson and Landon Dickerson getting back from injury, that's some fresh blood for Philly πŸ”„. And on the other side, Crosby's been dealing with knee issues, so we'll see how that plays out. I'm hoping for an upset, but it's gonna be tough! 😬

I'm low-key hyped for this one 🀩🏈. The Eagles are gonna need to step up their game without Lane Johnson, but OT Fred Johnson looks like he's gonna hold it down πŸ™Œ. That Raiders defense is looking solid, especially with Maxx Crosby on the field πŸ˜…. Geno Smith's out, so that's a good thing for Philly πŸ‘. Don't know what's up with Jalen Carter tho, hope he recovers soon 🀞. Maybe we'll see some surprises from their injury-ridden squad πŸŽ‰. The question is, how will the Eagles' O-line adjust without Lane? πŸ€” Only time will tell!

idk why people think lane johnson's absence is gonna hurt em that much tho πŸ€” they've got fred johnson covering his spot and its not like they're playing a 4 man oline or something... plus geno smith is out for them, that's def gonna make a difference in the game. Raiders defense looking strong though, maxx crosby is a beast πŸ’ͺ

Think the Eagles are gonna struggle without Lane Johnson... I mean, he's been their top right tackle all season, so this ankle injury might be a bigger deal than they're letting on πŸ˜¬πŸ‘€ Still, Fred Johnson stepping in should keep them from getting completely shut down... but it's gonna be a tough matchup against the Raiders anyway! πŸ€”πŸ’ͺ

πŸ€” This season just keeps getting more interesting for the Eagles... I mean, what's gonna happen when they try to pass without Lane Johnson? They're gonna get killed by the Raiders' D on the right side. And with Geno Smith out, I'm guessing their QB play is gonna be a disaster. Maxx Crosby better not have any major issues or it's gonna be a long day for Philly... The only good news is that Zack Baun is back from his hand injury, but I'm sure he'll just get hurt again πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Ugh, I'm worried about the Eagles' O-line situation πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. With Lane Johnson out, they're gonna have to rely on Fred Johnson, who's dealing with an ankle problem himself πŸ€•. That's a tough ask for a guy who's 'limited' on Thursday. And what's up with all these injuries? It feels like the Eagles are just trying to get everyone back from injury without giving them enough time to heal properly πŸ™„. On the other hand, I'm hoping Geno Smith's absence will give the Raiders' defense an opportunity to shine πŸ’ͺ. Maxx Crosby and Jamal Adams look like they'll be in, and if Jalen Carter is really out, that's a big blow for Philly. This one's gonna be a tough matchup for the Eagles πŸ“Š

πŸ€” so like they got some key players out injured but still gonna give it a shot against the raiders? lmn me wondering how much of an impact lane johnson's absence is gonna have πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ and what's up with geno smiths shoulder injury? can't say i'm surprised tho considering his whole career lolol πŸ˜‚
