Dublin Bay's oyster graveyard rises from dead in effort to restore rich ecosystem

just saw this news about dublin bay getting 60k new oysters 🐚💦 and it's actually kinda cool. i mean, we've been hearing about dying reefs for ages and it's awesome to see some action being taken. the idea of oysters filtering water and helping with algae is genius 🤓. but what really gets me is that it's not just a big project, it's like a small step at a time thing. david lawlor said something about taking one step at a time and i'm pretty sure he's right. plus, it's not just about the oysters, it's about learning from them and understanding how ecosystems work. fingers crossed this one works out! 🤞

this is so cool 🐚💦! introducing new oysters to an ecosystem that's been messed up for years can make a huge difference in filtering water and keeping it healthy. I love how they're taking a small step, like with just 18,000 new oysters, to test if it works first before trying to do more 🤔. it's also great to see the scientists from Dublin City University monitoring everything to learn more about what's going on underwater 🧬.
