Yaaas I'm so down for this move!!! It's about time we give those talented artists the recognition they deserve! I mean, can you even imagine having to stream 800k+ times just to make ends meet? That's crazy . The fact that Detroit and NYC are on board with this is a huge step forward . Let's get more cities and states on board too . This will be a game-changer for artists everywhere .

omg I'm so hyped about this news!!! it's about time we give those talented artists what they deserve! they're the ones creating that sick beats and melodies that get us pumped up and moving but do we really pay them enough? $0.003 per play is literally pennies, fam! I mean, can you imagine if you were streaming your own music all day and getting paid like 3 cents for every stream? it's just not fair

I love that Rep. Tlaib is pushing for this change because she gets it those artists need a stable income so they can keep making music and living their best lives and who knows, maybe we'll even see more artists from Detroit on the scene
