I'm still in shock after watching those videos of what happened on the streets of Minneapolis
. It's crazy to think that an official from the ICE was able to make such a life-altering decision in a split second. I mean, we all know that traffic stops can be tense situations, but it seems like there were so many things that could have been done differently before things escalated.
To me, the description of what happened sounds more like a robbery gone wrong than an act of terrorism
. And honestly, I'm having trouble understanding how the DHS Secretary is able to call this an "act of terrorismo" when it seems clear that there was a whole lot of chaos and confusion involved.
I think we need to start asking some tough questions about what happened here and why. Why did the ICE official feel like he had to shoot Renee Good? Was there some sort of protocol in place that was ignored or misunderstood? And more importantly, how can we ensure that something like this never happens again?
It's heartbreaking to see a family lose someone so tragically, and I'm not sure what kind of justice they'll be able to find. We need to get to the bottom of this and make sure that those responsible are held accountable
