A Washington congresswoman is blaming the recent "Daylight Savings Time" change for her son's injury, which she says left him with a bloody nose. The incident has led to calls from lawmakers to scrap the bi-annual time change altogether.
Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.) said that her son was affected by the time change and suffered a gusher of blood. She claimed this could be prevented if we scrapped daylight saving.
Perez's comments come as several politicians have expressed interest in doing away with daylight saving, citing its negative effects on health and safety.
