Cremation pyre in Africa thought to be world's oldest containing adult remains

omg i cant believe its 9k yrs old!!! 🤯 this discovery is mind-blowing, like we thought cremation was a later thing in africa but nope ancient africans were rockin the pyre life too lol. and the fact that its a woman, like she was treated with some respect or somethin 🙏 i love how researchers are all like "we didnt know this" and now theyre tryin to figure out why she got special treatment. maybe its not just about the spiritual value but also about social status? 🤔 idk, but whatever its cool that we can learn more about ancient africa's lives and rituals 👍

🤔 I'm kinda blown away by this discovery in Malawi - 9,500 yrs old? That's like, even before the Neolithic period! It's wild to think that these ancient Africans were already practicing cremation rituals for their dead, and not just limited to certain tribes or societies. The fact that we're still learning about the purpose of this pyre and how it fits into their funerary practices is mind-blowing. It makes me wonder what other secrets these ancient communities might hold... 🕰️💀
