Conor Benn v Chris Eubank Jr: Steve Bunce expects no third fight

I feel like all this talk about a third fight is just prolonging what was already settled ... Conor Benn proved he's got the skills to take down Chris Eubank Jr and that's it! I mean, don't get me wrong, both those guys are talented fighters, but sometimes you gotta know when to fold 'em, right? The fact is, Benn came out on top in a rematch after losing before, so what more does Eubank Jr need to prove? Let him move on and focus on his own career... I'm good with the door being closed

I'm kinda surprised Steve Bunce said that . I mean, it was a really close fight and Conor Benn did win convincingly, but we've seen this before in boxing - upsets happen and rematches can be huge. Eubank Jr's form is pretty good right now, so you can't rule out another fight just yet . That being said, I do think Bunce has a point that Benn sent a strong message with his win - if he wants to stay in the mix for a title shot, he should focus on winning some more belts first . It's a shame for fans who want to see these two go at it again, but sometimes boxing just doesn't work out like you want it to .

I'm so over these boxing analysts trying to tell us what's best for the fighters! Steve Bunce thinks Benn sent a message and it's time to move on? Give me a break! The guy just won his rematch, that's all he needs to prove. And btw, Eubank Jr has been in a slump lately so yeah, maybe another fight wouldn't be the best idea for him either. I'm loving the rivalry vibes though, can we get more of those?

idk why steve bunce thinks eubank jr shouldnt get another shot at benn , benn won pretty convincingly and eubank jr just cant seem to put it together, like what's there to justify another fight? source pls?

I'm kinda with Steve Bunce on this one . I mean, Conor Benn put on a masterclass performance in that rematch and it was clear he's moved on from their last fight. If Eubank Jr wants another shot, he needs to show up even stronger than that . For now, it seems like Benn is taking the "win" (no pun intended) as an opportunity to focus on his own career rather than constantly revisiting old rivalries . Not saying I'd be sad if they didn't do another fight, but at least we got a satisfying conclusion from their last one .
