OMG I cant even believe what's happening right now with lithium prices!!! its like theyre running away from the charts China just introduced these new power pricing reforms and now suddenly everyone wants BESS systems to make a profit . Its like the whole market is one big gamble where people are throwing money at any chance of making a buck . And honestly I dont blame them because its a crazy opportunity . But at the same time I'm like what about all those people who invested in lithium thinking they'd be rich off it now their prices are skyrocketing and theyre stuck with inventory they cant sell . Its just so wild and unpredictable . The market is literally running on fumes right now and I dont know how long this will last .
just saw this thread and I'm like "wait what happened"? didn't they say those power reforms would reduce BESS demand? now it seems like they're more popular than ever and we're seeing a lithium boom the problem is, who's gonna fill all these orders? there won't be any restocking until next year at least...
I mean, who wouldn't want to pay 50% more for something just because some Chinese government changes the way they price electricity? It's not like we're living in a bubble here... but hey, maybe this means electric cars will finally become affordable and we can all enjoy the thrill of potentially running out of battery power at random intervals . Silver linings, right?
