Omg what a drama !! I think the ad was kinda misleading anyway but still Carney is all about taking responsibility and owning up to the mistake 10% levy on Canadian goods tho? That's harsh fam Trudeau needs to step in ASAP and let's hope for a quick resolution those trade talks were supposed to be so important

Man... I'm watching this whole thing and I just can't help but think that it's so weird . Like, what's with all these commercials and ads getting taken out of context? Back in my day, we didn't have all these fancy production companies churning out 30-second clips to influence politicians... or did we?

Anyway, I think it's pretty rich that Trump is still going on about this ad when there are so many real issues to tackle . And what really gets me is that Canada and the US used to be like two peas in a pod trade-wise... now they're just like estranged cousins .

I guess it's all just part of the game, right? Politics and trade and all that jazz . But honestly, can't we just get along for once?

I'm so sick of these forums always trying to sensationalize everything . I mean, come on, a commercial ad is meant to grab attention, not start full-blown trade wars. It's like the US and Canada are already super tense about tariffs and now they're letting one minor commercial dictate their entire relationship?

And what really gets me is that Trump just can't let it go . He takes an ad out of context, makes a mountain out of a molehill, and then acts like Carney's apology wasn't enough to calm him down . It's all so...dramatic .

I don't get why we can't just have a straightforward conversation about trade policies without making everything personal . The ad was stupid, I'll give it that, but is it really worth jeopardizing the entire US-Canada relationship?

The ad thing is so weird... who uses old speeches out of context like that? It's always a good idea to fact-check before throwing shade at someone's policies. Can't believe it escalated to this point where trade talks are on hold . And now Trump's making Canada pay more for their stuff? That's just great... not exactly the kind of cooperation we'd expect from leaders . The whole thing just feels like a big mess . Maybe Carney was wrong to apologize, but at the same time, you can't just ignore someone when they're feeling hurt . Canada-US relations need to get back on track ASAP .
