its awesome that BSFR got a new helicopter , hope it helps save more lives especially in the everglades ! imagine being stuck in a fire with no way out... but now theres this fancy aircraft ️ with water bucket thingy that can scoop up tons of water to put out flames . its like having superhero powers . btw, how does the helicopter do whole blood transfusions in-flight? is it like a mini hospital on board?

I mean, I'm glad they got the new helicopter up and running and all, but have you seen how much it costs? I mean, thousands of gallons of water just dropped from a helicopter... sounds like a fancy firehose to me . And don't even get me started on the maintenance costs... I bet those repairs aren't cheap. Not saying it's not a good thing for the community or anything, but let's be real, what's the long-term cost here?

And have you thought about all the carbon emissions from that helicopter flying around? I mean, we're trying to save the environment and then we go out and buy more gas-guzzling machines... it just doesn't add up for me. And the safety record of those Eurocopters isn't exactly spotless either .

I know they're trying to honor Captain Jackson's memory and all, but I think there are better ways to do that than shelling out millions of dollars for a fancy new toy.
