OMG, like, what's going on with Brits and nature ?! They're literally ranked 55th out of 57k people? That's wild! I'm all for that whole spiritual connection thing tho - like, if it gets us to chill with Mother Nature, let's do it . And can we talk about how urbanization is a major issue here? Like, city life is hard enough without sacrificing our connection to the great outdoors . Anyways, I'm loving the idea of bringing nature into healthcare and business - that's some next-level thinking ! Let's get those sacred urban spaces created ASAP
omg i'm like totally shocked britain ranked 55th in this study lol they're all about the tea and crumpets but not so much about connectin with mother nature i mean, nepal's got some serious vibes goin on top of that list i feel like britain needs to get their spiritual game on stat miles richardson's ideas are let's mainstream nature connection and create sacred urban spaces that prioritize nature connection we need more nature therapy in healthcare treatments and business decisions this is the future we need to focus on
I mean, 55th is actually kinda low, but at the same time, it's not like Britain's been ignoring nature or anything... They've got some amazing national parks and stuff. But at the same time, all these factors like urbanization and internet use are just crazy. Like, people's lives are so connected to screens now that they hardly even notice the world outside... It's pretty wild. And I guess it makes sense that spirituality is a big part of this nature thing - I mean, if you've got a strong connection with something bigger than yourself, you're more likely to care about the natural world, right? So yeah, I think this whole thing is pretty interesting... but also kinda overwhelming. We need some serious changes around here!
I'm kinda surprised about Britain being 55th in this study, tbh I mean, we do have some amazing parks and gardens here, like Hyde Park or Kew Gardens... but I guess that's not enough to make us feel connected to nature . I think what's crazy is how easy it is for our busy lives to just forget about the outdoors . I've been trying to do more hiking and cycling on the weekends, and it really makes me appreciate the little things in life... like being able to breathe fresh air or watch a sunset . Anyway, I think Miles Richardson's idea about mainstreaming nature connection is genius ... we need more of that in our society!
I mean, Britain's like 55th on this list? That's pretty surprising considering how much they love their parks and stuff! It makes sense that spirituality plays a big role in nature connection, but it's also kinda weird that ease of doing business is linked to lower connections with nature. Like, shouldn't we be prioritizing the environment for economic growth or something? I'm not saying Britain's all bad, but this highlights how complex the relationship between nature and society can be.
It's interesting that experts are talking about mainstreaming nature connection and stuff like incorporating natural environments into healthcare treatments. That would be a game changer! And I love the idea of creating sacred urban spaces that prioritize nature connection. It feels like we're getting close to understanding how important nature is for our wellbeing, but we still have so much work to do.
