omg can u believe the schedule for these tennis players?! it's like they're expected to be superheroes or something i mean, sabalenka is already number one in the world and she's still getting injured? i feel so bad for her. the wta tour needs to do something about this crazy schedule, it's not fair to these players at all. and honestly, who makes these decisions anyway? it's just ridiculous. and poor katie boulter becoming british singles winner on thursday was like a breath of fresh air, nice to see some good news for once

The way they force players to play so much is just ridiculous! I mean, I get it, tournaments are important, but at what cost? Aryna's right, those balls are heavy and injuries happen ...and then you have penalties for not playing enough events? I think its pretty reasonable for players like Aryna Sabalenka to speak out about the grueling schedule in tennis. I mean, we've seen so many injuries and retirements over the years, it's only natural that they're concerned about their own well-being . The WTA Tour does say player welfare is a priority, but if its not being shown through the actual scheduling, then what's the point?

I'm also surprised Iga Swiatek got penalized for skipping some events too - doesn't she get the same treatment as Sabalenka? Maybe they should take a closer look at the schedule and see if there are ways to make it more manageable without penalizing players. That would be a big win for player welfare
