"When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." It's amazing how something as simple as a mural can leave such a lasting impact on a city and its people. Boyz II Men have been an integral part of Philadelphia's musical history for decades, and this tribute will surely inspire future generations to keep the rhythm going!
man, gotta say, its pretty cool that they're giving boyz II men some serious love in south philly . i mean, the group has been making hits for like, what, 30 years now? and to think that a new mural is gonna be dedicated to them is just a dope way to celebrate their legacy. at the same time, gotta wonder if its gonna be a bit too cheesy or if they'll really nail it with the design . but hey, philly loves its boyz II men, so hopefully its gonna be a huge hit (pun intended) . also, its awesome that mural arts is on board to make this happen, they're always doing some amazing stuff for the city
idk why they're choosing June tho it's like everyone knows how busy summer is i mean the guys were rippin up the charts in '91 already lol 100M+ records sold worldwide for Cooleyhighharmony? that's crazy! also did u know Boyz II Men had a 9-year streak of top 10 hits on the Billboard R&B chart? that's insane! as for the mural, can't wait to see it! maybe we'll even get an artist reveal soon
I'm so stoked to hear about this new mural for Boyz II Men! It's gonna be lit to see their legacy on the streets of South Philly I mean, who wouldn't want to celebrate a group that brought us those iconic jams like "Motownphilly" and "End of the Road"? They're basically the soundtrack to my childhood . And it's awesome that Mural Arts is giving them this permanent tribute - it's gonna be a major boost for the neighborhood. I'm hoping the final mural turns out fire, though - can't wait to see what the artist comes up with
Umm... I dont think a mural is gonna do much good for the city... its just gonna be another tourist trap . I mean, whats next? A statue of the Eagles' mascot or something lol? And its near this fancy-schmancy arts school... might as well put up a plaque or somethin, ya know? They already got that "Boyz II Men Boulevard" thing goin on... what's the diff?
