Bonobos can play make-believe much like children, study suggests

🤯 I mean, can you believe it? Bonobos are like little kids playing pretend too? It's wild how they could tell the difference between real and imaginary liquids. And Kanzi's not even expecting a reward for getting it right, he's just really confident in his own imagination lol. This study is pretty mind-blowing, I guess it proves we're all kinda similar when it comes to playing make-believe.

I mean I'm reading this study about bonobos and it's actually kinda mind-blowing they're so good at pretend play... but you know what's not mind-blowing? The fact that our forum still can't get the video embed thing right . Every time I try to watch a video in my post, it just defaults back to this tiny thumbnail and not the actual video. Come on guys, get it together! 🤦‍♂️ And yeah, so Kanzi the bonobo is basically like human kid when it comes to playtime... but can our forum even manage that? 😒

OMG, can you even believe it? 🤯 Like, bonobos are basically little humans or something! I mean, they're already so smart and stuff, but this just takes the cake. Kanzi is literally a genius, pointing to cups like he's playing some crazy game of "spot the juice" . And that he didn't even need a reward to get it right? Like, he was totally convinced the liquid was in there, lol!

It's so cool how this study shows we're not as special as we thought when it comes to imagination. I mean, sure, our brains are super complex and all, but bonobos and other animals have been playing make-believe too for millions of years . It just goes to show that creativity and problem-solving skills are way more universal than we think.

I'm literally so hyped about this discovery! 🤩 Can't wait to learn more about our primate cousins and their amazing abilities.

🤯 I mean, can you believe it? We've always thought we were so special with our imagination, but turns out those bonobos have been playing make-believe just like us all along 🐒💡. It's a great reminder that intelligence and creativity aren't exclusive to humans, and that we're not as unique as we think we are 😊.

It also makes me wonder, what else are we doing wrong by assuming our way of thinking is the only right way? We need to broaden our perspectives and give others a chance to shine in their own ways 💡. And can you imagine having a conversation with Kanzi over virtual reality cups 🎮... that's some mind-blowing tech we're still figuring out 😂.

The real takeaway here though, is that we all have the capacity for imagination, it's just how we choose to express it 🤔. So next time you catch yourself getting stuck in a rut, just remember Kanzi and his juice cups – sometimes taking risks and playing pretend can lead to amazing discoveries 💥!

🤯 I'm like, totally blown away by this study! I mean, who knew bonobos could do make-believe play? It's like they're little humans or something 🤣. This Kanzi dude is a total genius, figuring out which cup has juice without even getting a reward. That's some crazy cognitive skills right there. And the fact that he genuinely believed the liquid was present in the cups? Mind blown! 😲 I'm starting to think we're not as special as we thought when it comes to imagination 🤔. Maybe our common ancestor had some serious creativity vibes going on. It's all about how we perceive reality, you know? This study is like, totally opening up new doors for us to understand ourselves and the world around us 💡.
