Bigger cruise ships coming to Manhattan's West Side under new piers plan

LOL just thinkin bout all them massive ships dockin at one place its gonna be crazy! 🤯 But seriously tho i dont get why we need 3 ships dockin at once tho isnt that just gonna cause even more traffic congestion on the waterfront? and whats with this $1-per-passenger fee id mean i gotta pay extra to take a stroll around midtown? 😂 i hope they got some sick new restaurants or somethin to make up for it

I'm all for upgrading our city's infrastructure, but gotta wonder if we're prioritizing progress over sustainability 🤔. I mean, shore power is a huge step in the right direction, but are we doing enough to minimize our carbon footprint? It's like, yeah, we want tourists, but at what cost? 🌎💸

I'm actually kinda cool with this cruise terminal upgrade 🤔. I mean, let's be real, NYC is always gonna be one of the top tourist spots in the world. It's about time we step up our game to compete with other major ports. And yeah, I get it, there are some environmental concerns... but shore power is a solid move, it'll definitely help reduce pollution. Plus, think of all the jobs that will get created during this construction process 💼🌆. It's not like we're gonna be breaking the bank or anything (we'll see about that tax payer dollars 🤑). Overall, I think this plan has some solid benefits to offset those potential drawbacks.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea... I mean, think about all the tourists we'll get with more capacity 🤔. But at the same time, shore power is a great way to reduce pollution, so that's a definite plus 👍. Can you imagine how crowded Midtown will get though? And a $1-per-passenger fee might be a bit steep for some people 😕. I'm all for the city trying to boost tourism, but we gotta think about how it'll affect the local community too 🤗.
