Bad Bridgets podcast about crime among Irish women in US inspires film

OMG, I'm so stoked to hear that 'Bad Bridget' is getting adapted into a film! 🎥 This story needs to be told, it's like, so underrated and yet so powerful 🤯 The way these women were forced out of Ireland and then shamed for being strong & fierce in America is just heartbreaking 😭 I'm low-key excited to see Daisy Edgar-Jones & Emilia Jones bring these characters to life! 👩‍🎤 Can't wait to see the film's release date, let's make some noise about it and get more people talking about this incredible true story #BadBridgetFilm #IrishEmigrantWomen #DiversityOnScreen

I'm so stoked to hear about this new film adaptation! 🎥 It's about time we get to see these incredible stories of female Irish emigrants on the big screen. I mean, can you imagine how tough their lives must've been? Poverty, hunger, abuse... and then being at the wrong end of the law in NYC? 😱 It's heartbreaking, but also super inspiring that they defied conventions and lived life on their own terms.

I love that Margot Robbie's production company is teaming up with historians to get it just right. You can tell it's going to be a nuanced exploration of these women's lives, not just some glamorized version of what happened. And I'm excited to see Daisy Edgar-Jones and Emilia Jones bring their characters to life - they're talented actresses who can really convey the complexity of these women's stories.

I think this film has huge potential to shed light on a part of history that's often been overlooked, and for that, I'm totally rooting for it. Let's get ready for some amazing storytelling! 💪

idk why they're making a film about these "bad bridgets" - sounds like a bunch of ladies who got screwed over life and ended up being, well, a bit dodgy lol 🤷‍♀️ but seriously though, it's kinda cool that someone is shedding light on these women who are often overlooked in history books. i mean, we gotta remember that even the toughest of us has had to deal with crap sometimes 👀 so yeah, let's give these women some screen time and see what all the fuss is about 🎬

idk why ppl think margot robbie needs to play every strong female lead 🤷‍♀️, can't she just produce something for once? 💸 anyway, this film sounds kinda dark & intense, might be a game changer for female-centric stories in history films 👀 what's with the term "Bad Bridget" tho? like, is it meant to be some kinda villain or what? 🤔
