I gotta say, 51% control over Guess's IP is a pretty sweet deal for Authentic Brands Group... I mean, it's not like it's gonna hurt Guess's global operations or anything 
. They're basically getting a free hand to focus on brand strategy and licensing, which sounds like a recipe for success to me. And let's be real, Guess has been struggling in the North American market lately, so this acquisition might just be what they need to turn things around... or maybe it'll just be a fancy way of saying " Authentic is making all the money off Guess"

51% control over IP rights is a lot of power lol. i think it's dope that they're focusing on brand strategy & licensing, guess has been trying to grow its digital channels & licensing too. now they're all connected under one roof, like a fashion empire 
with Reebok, Champion, Nautica, Brooks Brothers, David Beckham, and Juicy Couture in their portfolio. its gonna be sick to see what they come up with next
