Ashleigh Plumptre: 'I deeply hurt people by moving to Saudi Arabia'

I'm so hyped about the SWPL, you guys! 😍 I mean, it's amazing to see Saudi Arabia taking women's football seriously and investing in their league. The fact that Ellen White and Jen Beattie are part of the league is a huge deal - they're icons in the sport! 🌟 But, like Ben Haines said, there's still so much work to be done. We need more grassroots programs to help kids get involved in football and community initiatives to boost attendances. And let's be real, hosting the Women's World Cup would be a game-changer for Saudi Arabia's sports scene! 🏆 I'm keeping my fingers crossed they can make it happen soon. Have you guys listened to that awesome podcast, The Women's Football Weekly? 🎙️ It's like, so informative and fun - they're doing some amazing work in promoting women's football.

man this swpl thing is crazy 💥 like how they got ellie white and jen beattie on board but still gotta deal with low attendances 🤔 idk what's more sad tho, that women's football in saudi arabia is struggling or that the gov's not supportin it enough 🙏 anyway i'm hyped for them to host the womens world cup one day 🌟 might need some more investment in grassroots programs tho 👀 might change the game 🚀

I think it's awesome that women's football is getting more attention in Saudi Arabia 💪🏽! It's a great step forward for the country, but I do hope they can work on increasing attendances and community engagement - it would be amazing to see more families and kids involved in the game 🎉. And hosting the Women's World Cup in the future would be an incredible opportunity for Saudi Arabia to show off its support for women's sports... but let's make sure those grassroots programs get some extra funding 💸! The podcast sounds like a great resource too, can't wait to check it out 📻
