like watching paint dry or something. i mean, what's the point of even having an afterlife if u just end up stuck in some twisted loop of hate and malice?
. The animation is insane, I mean, who comes up with trippy pastels and weird creatures? But seriously, it's like the film is trying to show us all this dark stuff about human nature and our impact on the afterlife...it's heavy 
. I love how the soul keepers are these pint-sized guides that care for the dead, but at the same time, Gudo's obsession with humans is like, what's up with that? Anyway, the story is wild and all, but sometimes it feels like Ng is trying to cram too many ideas in there and it gets a bit disjointed 
. Still, I kinda love how uncomfortable and thought-provoking it is - it makes me wanna think about my own life choices
