the whole thing just feels like a manifestation of our collective inability to cope with reality... the 'day of love' comment from trump just screams that he's out of touch with what actually happened, but at the same time, it's also kinda sad that people are so desperate for a narrative that makes them feel less guilty about what went down on january 6th... i mean, if we're gonna rewrite history, can't we at least try to do it in a way that doesn't involve gaslighting our own collective psyche?
