meh, i'm not surprised mich's upper peninsula is on top, been there like 3 times and the snow is insane . but stowe, vermont is a close second, loved dog-sledding there, so peaceful . north conway's got some great trails too, but it feels kinda crowded compared to stowe. still, if you're a ski bum like me, new england's gotta be on your radar . caribou's cute and all, but it's not exactly mitten city, you feel?
